Giles is undeniably one of the strongest father figures on TV. He’s not afraid to tell it like it is, but he’s also always ready and willing to give support to not only Buffy, but Dawn, Willow, Xander, Tara and hell, even Anya and Spike once or twice. Despite being put in mortal danger over and over again, Giles refuses to do anything but what he considers best for his slayer, including leaving his life behind when he thinks it’s the best thing he can do for her.

Oh, I’m SO upset! Not only did Joss Whedon kill off my favorite character but he used another one of my favorite characters to do it! Now I hate him! I’ve lost two character this past week.
